I’ve won ..

Apparently I have won 250,000 euros in a competition that I didn’t enter .. all I have to do is give them my bank details … I think I might make some details up but tell them to send me a cheque in the post .. thank you very much!  Do I hand in my notice at work now???  (yeah yeah I know 250,000 isn’t that much)

    Wow, I’ve got a similar email from a Nigerian lawyer who needs to get some funds out of the country in a hurry. It must be a lucky day. w00t!

    I have to disagree. The € is strong against ye olde £ at the moment. Which is good for €250000 winners, but bad for those deciding to leave home for the sunnier mainland Europe.

    That people fall for these things just amazes me. I like following the links on fishing emails and filling in the details for J. Christ (born 25/12/0000) :)
