Disappointment!
Charliebobsmum asked if I would like a sandwich from the bakers .. I said yes and told her what I wanted but said that if they didn’t have that, not to bother .. I was looking forward to the sandwich from the bakers on nice fresh bread .. instead, as the bakers didn’t have the tuna with (removable) cucumber that I’d asked for, she got one from the shop next door and this is like so totally not the same thing and my lunchtime disappointment is huge!
A “no sandwich” disappointment would have been easier to bear than the “wrong sandwich” disappointment.
Said sandwich is looking at me .. and I know I can’t take the cucumber out of it because it is all chopped up and mashed in with the tuna!
I am about to cry!

That is a fairly traumatic thing to have to cope with on a Monday xxx
I’m with you on this. First why do people insist on having cucumbers on sandiwches, they dont taste nice.
But this is also the reason why I spend so much time hunting down new sandwich shops at new jobs and why I only ever go in deli’s, I pick the the toppings, not some unimaginative guy in a suit I’ll never meet.
sandwich places always do this to me with onions…
If you can somehow remove all the tuna and just leave the cucumber then I’ll eat it. Cucumber is delicious but it should be free from impurities.
I tried to eat it .. but there was too much cucumber and it didn’t smell right .. it is now in the bin if Mr Frog wants it!
hmm, I’ll pass. I have fresh cucumber in my fridge at home. Yum.
