Where to go?

A couple of years ago, after a very drunken night out, my best friend and me called on one of our friends, Manufan - at 3.00 am!  We thought it would be a really good idea to rearrange his garden furniture, as we didn’t think that where it was in the garden was best suited for the sun (at 3.00 in the morning??!) 

Manufan spent the next hour running around after us putting everything back where it was originally .. he, I should point out, took it all very well, although I think he was a little frustrated about us lying on his grass giggling, and it has been a joke between us for years!

One of my problems is that if I walk out on Pig during an argument, or just need to get away, my places of sanctuary are limited, however Manufan said to me last night “Cat, what’s going on, you can’t live like you do any more”  .. so we had a little discussion, much along the lines of what goes on in here and at the end of it he said to me “well you know where I live, come round anytime of day or night if you need a place to go” ..  my response to him was “but you didn’t like us rearranging your garden furniture at 3.00 am .. I don’t think you could cope with the possibility of coming downstairs in the morning to find that everything you owned had been moved again!” .. he saw my point!
