Hurrumph!

I hate shopping – with a passion!  If I NEED something, I can’t find exactly what I want .. if I don’t, then 40 zillion things jump out at me - most of which I can’t afford!  Today was no different!

All I wanted was some cropped trousers or “capri pants”  … could I find anything that looked vaguely right on my (always) skinny legs .. NO! (and I’m an “average” height/weight - I finally bought some very smart (but obviously casual ) trunes in M&S which weren’t “quite right” .. but on my way home I decided that they really were a size and length too big (although icklesis reckons they fit very well)  .. 1 size (round the waist) and at least 2 inches (in the leg) … so I thought I’d stop at another M&S and if they had the right pair do a “swap” -  did they have the same style/pair .. no they effing didn’t! .. so I’m a tad pissed off with M&S for NOT stocking the same stuff in all their stores!

On another note I have sadly neglected the dog today, although the rabbit had “time out” .. and I AM STILL MISISNG A GEKKO .. much to most people’s amusement!

Please imagine me tonight hoicking me trunes up every 5 minutes as they don’t have belt loops and no doubt will stretch!  :(

I’ve come a long way ..

since I started this blog .. I’ve been reading over past crap (only coz I knew an anniversary was coming up and I wasn’t  sure when it was) … I am not where I “mentally” want to be,  but I’m in a better place than I was .. and that’s good.

Thank you for the internet (because without you, I’d probably be in the nut-house by now) .. and THANK YOU ALL for reading the shit that comes out of my head!

Status Update!

The Admirer!

Having said “we would eat early and have an early night” because we were so late the previous night having gone to see Indiana .. it was 10.30 by the time we ate (preceeded by 2 bottles of wine) .. and then about 2.30 by the time I finally poured myself into bed .. he fell asleep on the sofa!

During the course of dinner he said to me that he hadn’t any ties to the area or his job and could basically go anywhere in the country/world to work .. how did I feel about that?  I skirted the answer and my reply was  that I didn’t have any ties either, other than an ageing mother .. APPARENTLY that answer was the wrong answer or the answer he didn’t want (I cannot rightly remember as I was fairly asleep already with wine, fresh air and exercise).  Sort of told him his fortune after that!  Can anyone tell me what answer I was supposed to give, because I sure as hell don’t know!

Anyway .. it just further proved to me that the bloke is a twat!

It also proves to me that alcohol makes me arsey!

Soaked!

I take my duties very hardily(!) .. Staff Bull Terrier and I walked/ran for 40 minutes in the peeing rain .. (note to self to buy waterproof coat) and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!.  However … (and it’s an Admirer thing) .. I’m supposed to be going to a bar-b-q on Saturday .. at a GOLF CLUB! (oooohhhhhheeeeeeeeer)  This means I have to BUY ”smart” clothing .. whatthefuckisthatallabout?  I am, apparently (according to Golf Club rules), not allowed to wear jeans, not even Victoria Beckham at £350 a pop jeans!!!!! (not that I would ever buy jeans at that price, but you get the point!)  HOW ANAL IS THAT?????  .. I am now hardened against him (the Admirer) and whilst the sex is great .. that’s all folks!

Ahh .. World … get over yourselves and get fucked!
