To the non-believers ..

there is absolutely positively nothing going on between Dom and myself .. a point which was proved today when we went out to eat at Nando’s with 8 other people and we had to be back at the pub by 7.30 latest as the cute bartender was due to start work and we apparently could not miss her!

1. She is cute (not that I’m that way inclined);
2. He is smitten;
3. I swear he was drooling – there certainly were a lot of “puppy dog” eyes and sighing!

Now he just needs to ask her out and for her to say yes!

Today ..

I ate far more than was good for me, the only bonus being that I walked most of it off.

I also drank far more than I should and got sunburnt.  I saw some sights – not all of them I want to remember .. just think Essex!

We strolled around the castle, wandered round the lanes, visited Dom’s favourite shop in the world, i.e. the Sweet Shop and sat in the pub, in the sun and then we ate some more.

Dom’s friends are very very friendly and I laughed so much that at one point I had to leave as the tears were about to roll down my face and it would have been a tad embarassing!

PS: Next time Dom, I’m coming for a week!

Dom Lies!

ok, he doesn’t necessarily lie .. but the “mile” was more like 10!!  Walked at speed – actually it was more of a route march!  My little legs were struggling!  Dom has just googled it and it says 2.3 miles!  ergo I am right (I never doubted myself anyway)!

Consequently I had to drink far more than was good for me to recover my strength .. that’s my excuse and I am sticking to it!  At least I didn’t go down the kebab route ..unlike some!
