Jaded!

Last night we went and watched Madness at Sandown .. they were fantastic! AND I managed not to freak out at the crowds of people around me (I really don’t do crowds or enclosed spaces).

There will be pictures (not very good) .. but unfortunately I left the cables at work .. and now I’m a part-timer .. I’m free today (actually I am bloody expensive) and this is just a small interlude before I go and be a lady what lunches with Dom and Dan (and hopefully Soupy) …

Somehow I got to bed at 3.00 am .. I know we went to two bars .. one which was ok, the other which was filled with Pig’s acquaintances (spelling?) some of whom were all “Cat it’s lovely to see you gis’a'hug” .. some who ignored me (which is fine by me because I don’t actually like them anyway!) .. but that’s the weird thing, the people who hugged me didn’t really know me – but were pleased to see me – despite me being a miserable cow when I was with Pig .. and EVERY ONE of those people has said “you look really well and happy” .. which actually I am!  The Admirer, for all my whingeing, treats me like soooo well. (oh god, I’ve gone soppy)

Oh, and despite some crap “tips” (from someone “in the know” – ie the man who was commentating – I would mention his name, but his head is big enough as it is – although it did cause a bit of a stir in the Sports Bar when he came and met us!) .. I went with a jockey I’d heard of and won us some money – not enough to retire on, but money all the same!

Anyway, more later, I must shower before I “lunch” …
