Our wonderous bin men!

Now we all know the rants about rubbish, rubbish collections and the fact that the poor little bin men are not going to pull a heavy wheelie bin because it might hurt them in some way shape or form or, forbid the bin in in the “wrong place .. but those are two of the jokes going around amongst the Cobhamites and to be quite honest .. I’m sure they are not very far off the mark.

This story here .. just goes to prove what a sad (and sick) society we live in.  I don’t know the guy, part of me thinks I might recognise him, but this took place two roads away from where I used to live with Pig!

But the other thing is, if this body was supposed to be in the bin for 3 weeks .. why did no-one smell it after the recent very hot weather we have been having????

Day Out ..

S, having got a day off on Friday suggested that we do something, or go somewhere and what did I want to do.

Several suggestions were put forward and it was decided that we would go to Hever Castle .. former home of Anne Boleyn, haunt of Henry the VIII … all I can say is “what a disappointment”!

Some American bought the place in the early 1900’s and has turned it into a “museum” of his stuff!  Only about 2 rooms were dedictated (very limply) to Anne Boleyn and Henry VIII!

The gardens and outside of the building were very beautiful, but the rest of it .. lame!

We had more fun in Brighton on the pier, playing silly arcade games!
